Katie studied singing at Trinity Laban where she was awarded the Contemporary Music Prize. Katie has recently performed the roles of Hansel for Opera in Space, Kate Pinkerton (Opera Holland Park Young Artists), Mrs Herring (Mid Wales Opera Young Artists), Dorabella (Hampstead Garden) and Kate in OHP's Pirates of Penzance. Katie has a strong interest in contemporary music and recently performed a one woman show with Silent Opera at the Aldeburgh, Grimeborn and Tete a Tete festivals.
ANNA MENZIES - CELLO
Anna Menzies was born in Newcastle. She has performed across the UK and Europe as soloist and chamber musician, appearing at major venues and festivals. Her interests range from early music through to contemporary and she has worked with many composers including Sir Harrison Birtwistle and Colin Matthews, and recorded the UK premiere of Gubaidulina’s Verwandlung for Sky Arts. Anna is a member of the Gildas Quartet and teaches cello at Chetham’s School of Music.

KAY STEPHEN - VIOLIN/VIOLA
Kay Stephen studied at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and RNCM and is much in demand as a chamber and orchestral musician on both violin and viola. She is a member of the Gildas Quartet and the Jacquin Trio and has appeared with Red Note Ensemble, the Edinburgh Quartet, London Concertante, Hallé, the BBC Philharmonic, the Royal Northern Sinfonia and the BBC SSO among others. She regularly plays as guest principal viola with Manchester Camerata.
ROSANNA TER-BERG - FLUTES
Rosanna Ter-Berg’s striking performances have led her to be described as ‘super-charged’ with ‘unstinting virtuosity and personality’. Rosanna enjoys a varied musical career as a soloist, orchestral and chamber musician, educator and improviser, she also plays South American music. She has performed across the UK and Europe in major concert venues and festivals. She enjoys collaborating with composers and blurring boundaries across the arts with dancers, actors and artists.
JOSEPH HOUSTON - PIANO
Joseph Houston is a pianist based in London and Berlin. He has performed at many of the UK's most prestigious venues, as well as in France, Ukraine, Ireland, Germany and China. Joseph is particularly interested in Contemporary Music and has premiered an array of new music, including works by Charlotte Bray, Martin Suckling, Roger Marsh, Christian Mason, John Stringer, Ed Hughes, Thomas Simaku, Michael Zev Gordon, and Colin Matthews.

JESSIE GRIMES - CLARINETS
Jessie holds a Worshipful Company of Musician’s Silver Medal for outstanding musical achievement, awarded with her Royal College of Music MMus. She founded the Jacquin Trio, winners of the St Martin-in-the-Fields Chamber Music Competition 2012. Currently Principal Clarinet of Wexford Festival Opera, she was an EUYO member 2011-14. She also works as an animateur, has presented live on BBC television and teaches at the Royal College of Music JD.
